I was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey.  After many years working a job that I hated, decided to follow my passion and pursue this crazy dream of becoming a film writer.  I have always wanted to write movies that I would want to see and to tell stories that are inclusive, but show different aspects of the Black experience. My ultimate goal is to win an Oscar for best screenplay. Writing and creating content full time is the interim goal. To date, I have been blessed to received some awards for my work, and even served as the lead writer on the award winning "Jackson & Lewis" web series featuring Omar S. Scroggins (Power).
